Doherty at the Agathon Kennel Club Show 11/21/09 On October 3, 2009 Oliver and Heather took Winners Dog at the Fort Steuben Kennel Club show for Oliver's 14th point! On July 31, 2009 Oliver and Heather took Winners Dog for a 3 point major at the Columbian County Kennel Show under Judge:Dana P. Cline On August 2, 2009 Oliver and Heather took another 3 point point win at the Mahoning-Shenyang Kennel Club Show Under Judge: Ms. Linda C. More Oliver took Winner and Best of Winners at the Conewango Valley Kennel Club Show 6/13/09 Under Judge :Robert J. Moore! Oliver also took Winners Dog under Judge Guy Jeavons at the Olean Kennel Club Show 6/14/09 for two points while sister Madi took Best of Winners! Many thanks to Heather Hall for such a great job showing Oliver & Madi! Oliver makes me want to take photographs. He has been special from the very start. He is a sweet and easy going boy. At about 10 months old Oliver had to be seen for a foreign object in his eye. I knew he was special when he stood for two injections in his eye at my vet's office. After seeing our vet he was sent to a canine Ophthalmologist in nearby New York. His eye was very sore and swollen, and the doctor told me he would have to be sedated and taken into surgery for the removal of the foreign object. About ten minutes later she returned and told me he was so well behaved that she didn't even need to sedate him for the procedure. We were all amazed at Oliver's personality, and I share this story because we are so proud of him and how he did during his eye treatment. We knew he was special, from the very start, but until now we didn't know just how special! He truly is the Pride of Elsa!

We got 2 feet of new snow yesterday. Oliver loves the snow! 
Oliver took his first long road trip this weekend and was so interested in the puppy in the mirror at the hotel.

Recently we had a visit from a 10 week old Mastiff puppy named Sam. He had been attacked by another dog and was very shy. Oliver along with Kal & Eli were so gentle with him that by the time he went home he was playing and having a ball with the three grown male Ridgebacks. Sam & Oliver.
